It was probably one of those ads that pop up while surfing the net or visiting social media sites where I saw the Invicta brand of watches. And let me tell you, I love my watches and am proud to say that I own a small collection of well-designed, good quality timepieces.

This particular ad displayed one of the classy Invicta I-Force watches selling at an outrageously marked down price.Invicta produces solidly constructed stylish timepieces that look similar to high end models costing ten times the price. Add to that the discount offered by the sellers and you have a sweet deal indeed.
My curiosity got the better of me… checking out the particular model – it was the Invicta I-Force28743Quartz Chronograph 100M Men’s Watch – had me hooked. The InvictaINV28743came from Invicta’s Force collection which consists of some exceptional timepieces. Affordability, quality and good looks along with the Swiss made tag is the unique selling point of the Invicta brand. The Invicta INV28743 qualified in all these aspects and more.
This watch features a stainless steel case and dial in gunmetal grey. The large Arabic hour markers in contrasting white give the watch a distinctly bold look and of course, an improved clarity. The chronograph function is marked by three sub-dials namely 60 seconds, 60 minutes and 1/10th of a second. It also features a tachymeter scale along the bezel.
Invicta I-Force 28743 Quartz Chronograph 100M Men’s Watch is powered by a quartz movement, features a mineral crystal along with luminous hands and markers. The crowns are placed on the left side of the watch making it a left hander’s watch. But hey, it works well for right-handers too.
In fact, this unconventional left-handed placing of the crowns becomes a talking point whenever I wear this stylish Invicta. Although large at 46mm case diameter, it sits well on my wrist, the stainless steel bracelet giving a good fit. And of course, it is rated 100m water resistant as well.

I love these bands and how easy it is to change from one band to another. I have the everyday band, as this one becomes quite dirty, although it is easy to wash and then I have a grey stripe and a red stripe which is easy to change. Love the watch and the bands.
Great watch, everything i was hoping it would be. The black standard rubber strap is only suitable for medium or smaller wrists which is surprising given the intended market. I have a 20cm (XL) wrist and it's on the last hole ad really unwearable. Luckily i had the colour matched NATO strap which is plenty long enough.
