Casio G-Shock GWG-1000-1A1 Mud Master Triple Sensor 200M Men’s Watch

Casio G shock Mudmaster

Irene and myself are blessed with three sons and a daughter and like me, all four of them are sports enthusiasts. However, it is our youngest Grace, all of 14 who has taken to extreme sports like a duck takes to water.

Be it rock climbing at Mt Arapiles, Booroomba, Freycinet or Point Perpendicular or, big wave surfing at Byron Bay, Belongil or Shipstern Bluff or camping in the Outback; my girl Grace does it all. In fact, she is so well recognized in the Australian college and university circuit, that she has also began making a vee bit of money in sponsor fees.

Her extreme sports also have had its fair share of injuries, sprains, upset stomach (bad water), lost and broken gear that includes 6 broken watches. Sometimes just cycling on unpaved mountain side is enough to break down a chrono watch.

With her 15th birthday coming up this weekend, and at the recommendation of the boys, I decided to buy her a G-Shock watch. Casio is still the recommended brand. I say “still” because not so long ago, I used to use a Casio G-Shock myself – a watch that not only performed exceedingly well but probably also saved my life when a Costal Taipan bit me or rather, bit the watch. Had it struck anywhere else on my arm; I might not have been alive to write this blog.

Anyway, Noah my eldest, recommended I go for the Casio G-Shock GWG-1000-1A1 Mud Master Triple Sensor 200M Men’s Watch. Yup, men’s watch because he said the models available in the women’s section aren’t up to the mark. Besides, the Casio G-Shock GWG-1000-1A1 Mud Master Triple Sensor 200M Men’s Watch would actually fit her muscular wrist quite well.

I bought the watch from https://www.downunderwatches.com/ and it is still available at my purchase price of $827 (with international warranty), on this page: https://www.downunderwatches.com/product/casio-g-shock-gwg-1000-1a1-mudmaster-triple-sensor-200m-mens-watch/ It’s retail price is $1,200+

The watch is huge and almost 6 cm across. Very large luminous digits and hands make it easy to read the time even in pitch blackness but should you need it, there is also double LED lighting. The watch itself is made in black resin (strap) and stainless-steel case. It has a scratch resistant tough, Sapphire crystal and the case is shock, mud and water resistant.

The Casio G-Shock GWG-1000-1A1 Mud Master Triple Sensor 200M Men’s Watch is definitely a premium multi-function watch that can handle most extreme conditions and still include basic technological features such as altitude information, temperature readings, compass and multiband 6.

For those not aware, multiband 6 is a feature that automatically adjusts time settings based on reception of Casio’s radio towers located in Japan, China, United States, England, and Germany.

The buttons on the watch are quite large which makes it easy to use even when wearing gloves. I loved the fact that Casio provides all the information on the dial itself. The lower-left button opens a list of the functions on the watch’s LED strip. These functions include the timer, stopwatch, alarm, atmospheric pressure, temperature, etc.

So, if you need a really tough watch, there’s none better than the Casio G-Shock GWG-1000-1A1 Mud Master Triple Sensor 200M Men’s Watch and there’s no site that offers a better price than https://www.downunderwatches.com/.
